Meet Jade
Jade is the owner and trainer of Top Tier Canine LLC. Jade grew up in the San Juan Islands and has owned horses, dogs and cats. She has always had a passion for helping pet owners train their horses or dogs. This led to her interest in finding out how to train animals on a professional level. Jade found a lot of correlations between training horses and dogs which helped spark this path. After graduating from Oregon State University, with a Bachelors in Agricultural Business Management and a Minor in Animal Sciences she then decided to stay in Oregon. She mentored and trained under a handful of different trainers over the past four years. Her passion for training dogs and interest in business pushed her to start Top Tier Canine LLC based in Vancouver, Washington.
Meet Bailey
Bailey is a four year old Blue Heeler Border Collie. Jade got Bailey when she was an 8 week old puppy. Bailey was a very reserved dog towards strangers and out of fear began nipping out. She was great around livestock and trail riding, however just needed more exposure to strangers. This sparked Jade’s interest to train Bailey, to help with her anxious behaviors in public. With time, consistency, and lots of practice, Bailey has become such a great demo dog for Top Tier Canine LLC! She loves her job, and loves to have fun on all of the adventures she gets to go on. She is a well balanced dog due to the exposure training Jade has put into training Bailey.
